Key Responsibilities:
- Support investigations into customer complaints by conducting quality checks and inspections.
- Identify and raise quality concerns through the CAPA process.
- Monitor and inspect production processes/products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain quality documentation, including test plans and protocols.
- Monitor inventory of materials and supplies to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality processes and procedures.
- Support the collection and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality control and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and coordinate internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quality Technician role within a ceramics manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Proficiency in using computer software to generate reports, presentations, and data analysis (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, ERP systems - EFACS).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with quality engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience using basic measurement devices such as vernier callipers and micrometres.
- Proactive approach to self-development in the field of quality assurance.
- Experience in auditing processes is advantageous but not essential (training provided).
