Think Property and Surveying are delighted to be working with a Public Sectorwho are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor within their Capital team.
We're looking for a QS with experience delivering significant capex projects, ideally with public sector estates experience, to play a crucial role managing costs and procurement.
It's hybrid, it's delivering projects up to 40m in the West Midlands, it's ideal for someone who who has worked closely with local authorities and it's working with a large, diverse, multidisciplinary property team.
The role
You will be working as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultannt as anintegral part of the organisations Proeprty team.The role involves creating detailed cost plans, preparing feasibility estimates, apraisals, and providing pre-tender estimates.
Key responsibilities include conducting risk analyses, assessing whole life costs, preparing tender documentation, and managing the tender process. This position also offers opportunities for contract administration, projectmanagement,and engaging with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
