The Deputy Restaurant Manager we are looking for will have a quality food led background, exceptional customer service skills, a real eye for detail and the ability to train great people and build sales. Alongside having an understanding of financial & commercial controls.
It is a busy operation so you will also need some volume experience and exerience of supervising a team.
Role - Deputy Restaurant Manager
As the Deputy Restaurant Manager you will:
- Manage all day to day operations alongside the manager, head chef and senior team
- Help to control labour, stock and wastage
- Train and develop the team
- Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
- Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Work to company targets and KPIs'
- Drive sales through upselling promotions and excellent customer service
Attributes - Deputy Restaurant Manager
- Experience as a deputy/assistant restaurant/cafe/food led pub/coffee shop manager in busy commercial customer facing operations
- An understanding of labour and cost controls
- Excellent people, organisation, customer service and supervisory skills
- A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
- The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
- A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
- IT literate - working with systems & process
