Duties:
- Managing 15 - 20 customer accounts
- Managing deliveries to schedules / forecasts
- Monitoring schedule adherence (is the customer under / over consumingcompared to their forecast)
- Stock control
- Sourcing material
- Negotiating with suppliers
- Working out production processing instructions (training will be given)
- Recovering costs when necessary
- Updating contract prices monthly / quarterly
- Monthly reporting on usage / sales / stocks
- Maximising sales to existing and new customers
- Quotations (existing and new customer)
Experience:
- Proven experience in customer account management within the steel stock holdingindustry, would be an advantage
- Strong understanding of stock control, material sourcing, and supplier negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for reporting and account management.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and interpret customer consumption data.
This is an office based role working Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.00pm
