English Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting an English Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Wolverhampton after Easter, continuing until the summer term. The Role:

As an English Teacher at this secondary school, you will:

• Teach English across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), following the National Curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' literacy, analytical, and writing skills.
• Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support progress.
• Create a positive learning environment with strong behaviour management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the English department to enhance student engagement and achievement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting, with strong subject knowledge.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students.
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
• A commitment to student progress and a passion for English literature and language.

Working as an English Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you:

• £160 - £225 per day, equating to £31,200 - £43,875 per annum (based on full-time work).
• The option of PAYE or Umbrella pay.
• Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates, this is accrued at 12.07% of your day rate.

This English Teacher role is based in Wolverhampton, easily commutable from Bilston, Willenhall, Wednesfield, Dudley, West Bromwich, and Tipton. The school has excellent transport links and on-site parking available.
