We are working in partnership with a Secondary school in Wolverhampton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their team for a MAT cover. This is a full-time and long-term role for the term. You will have an opportunity to work in a fantastic, inclusive and supportive Secondary School in Wolverhampton. They have brilliant facilities with modern classrooms, and have recently received a 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are welcome to apply) and have recent experience teaching English to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.Your new role

  • Delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
  • Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
