Food Technology Teacher required to teach small classes of students with Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Are you a Food Technology Teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy helping student to overcome barriers to education and getting the most out of each day? This wonderful SEMH School is looking to add an experienced Food Technology Teacher or Food Technology instructor to the team on an ongoing basis.As a Food Technology Teacher you will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students with challenging behaviours and SEMH needs. This role requires a teacher with a calm approach to classroom management, and someone who has a genuine love for teaching Food Technology. This role is suitable for a QTS Food Technology Teacher or an experienced instructor.Job Role:
  • Teaching Food Technology to Students with additional needs
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students
  • Liaising with the leadership to manage classroom behaviours
  • Making school a welcoming, safe and engaging environment
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers
