Flourish Education is seeking a PE Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Wolverhampton after Easter, continuing until the summer term. The Role:

As a PE Teacher at this secondary school, you will:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Plan, mark, and assess students' work in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy competition within lessons and extracurricular sports activities.
  • Manage student behaviour effectively, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the PE department to enhance the school’s sporting achievements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
  • Strong subject knowledge of PE and experience teaching across KS3 and KS4.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Excellent behaviour management and the ability to build rapport with students.

Working as a PE Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you:

  • The option of PAYE or Umbrella pay.
  • Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates, this is accrued at 12.07% of your day rate.
