ABC teachers are seeking a Performing Arts Teacher to join our agency and work in a range dynamic and inclusive educational establishments in around the Wolverhampton area. Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Performing Arts Teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about drama, music, dance, or a combination of these disciplines and dedicated to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment. This is a unique opportunity to inspire and guide students in their artistic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in performing arts, tailored to a diverse range of abilities and interests.
  • Develop and implement creative curricula that align with educational standards and promote artistic expression.
  • Direct and support school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages confidence, collaboration, and creativity.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader arts program within the school.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and techniques in performing arts education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Music, Dance, or a related field. Teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, QTS) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience teaching performing arts to students aged between 11-18 years old
  • A track record of directing or contributing to school productions or performances.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and the ability to inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
