Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team to work within various well-regarded secondary schools in and around the Wolverhampton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons to students across various levels, nurturing a love for language and culture while ensuring students achieve their full potential. This role is ideal for a dynamic teacher with a deep understanding of language instruction and a commitment to student-centered education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Spanish lessons to students aged 11-18.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Encourage active participation and cultural appreciation within the language curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and teaching strategies.
- May be required to participate in school events, parent meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Spanish or a related field; PGCE or QTS is highly desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Spanish at secondary level Key Stages 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
- Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, approachable, and dedicated to fostering student success.
