Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 3 at a primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child in Year 3, adapting learning materials to meet their needs.

Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child is engaged and making progress.

Support the child's social and emotional development, encouraging positive interactions with peers.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement and review individual support plans.

Provide feedback on the child's progress to teachers and parents.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Experience working with children in a primary school setting.

Previous experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable.

A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
