Salary - £40,000-£45,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a Paint Shop Manager to join the new paint facility within a successful aluminum manufacturing business. This business has a commitment to innovation, quality, and reliability, their pioneering technology is completed by the dedication vision of their team.
Role Description
- Lead and drive the paint shop team to meet operational KPI's and delivery targets.
- Developing the team, monitoring and prioritising production plans whilst managing the technical side of the pre-treatment plant
- Ensuring HSE compliance
- Implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality
- Recruit, develop, and appraise team members, setting annual targets
- Manage paint and consumable inventory
- Support NPI introduction
- Ensure quality requirements are met in collaboration with Quality Assurance
- Plan future capacity
Skills and Qualifications
- Management experience with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Paint shop experience (painting, water pre-treatment plant)
- Strong planning, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
