Paint Shop Manager

Wolverhampton

Monday - Friday 40hrs

Salary - £40,000-£45,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a Paint Shop Manager to join the new paint facility within a successful aluminum manufacturing business. This business has a commitment to innovation, quality, and reliability, their pioneering technology is completed by the dedication vision of their team.

Role Description

  • Lead and drive the paint shop team to meet operational KPI's and delivery targets.
  • Developing the team, monitoring and prioritising production plans whilst managing the technical side of the pre-treatment plant
  • Ensuring HSE compliance
  • Implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality
  • Recruit, develop, and appraise team members, setting annual targets
  • Manage paint and consumable inventory
  • Support NPI introduction
  • Ensure quality requirements are met in collaboration with Quality Assurance
  • Plan future capacity

Skills and Qualifications

  • Management experience with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Paint shop experience (painting, water pre-treatment plant)
  • Strong planning, reporting, and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
