What you will be doing as a Maintenance Engineer:
- General maintenance and breakdown support.
- Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Robotics, PLC’s, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics and mechanical systems.
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Extensive liaison with supervisors/managers on shift.
- Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
- Timely response to equipment stoppages.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Field Service Engineer:
- Previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer is ESSENTIAL.
- An ELECTRICAL bias is ESSENTIAL.
- Experience with pneumatic & hydraulic systems is essential.
- A recognised engineering qualification is essential.
- You will be required to do a 3 shift rotation.
- You will be happy working in a large facility and be able to prioritise your workload.
- Experience with PLC’s and HMI’s is beneficial.
