We are looking for a compassionate Support Worker to assist a 23-year-old disabled male at his home in Wolverhampton.
The role requires a minimum of 2 shifts per month, with flexibility to cover on-call shifts as needed.
Candidates should ideally have prior experience, a full clean driving license, and the ability to swim, as this is one of the client's favorite activities.
The salary is £13.25 per hour, with an enhanced rate of £15.25 for weekend shifts and £80 for sleep-in shifts.
Applicants must have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years and live within a 30-minute drive of Wolverhampton, with a preference for female candidates in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join an existing team to assist a 23-year-old disabled male, at his Wolverhampton home offering a minimum of 2 shifts per month, plus being on call (with notice). Our client is looking to add to his caring support worker team to assist him and his family. You will need to be flexible to cover on-call shifts – with prior notice given. Some of his carers have been with him for several years, forming a close bond with him.As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will be:

Assisting with personal care
Driving his adapted vehicle
Helping with swimming/hydrotherapy
Administering medication
Supporting him in daily activities such as going to the park, cinema, or pub.

Previous experience would be an advantage, but being the right fit for him and his family is more important. As his Support Worker you will need:

A full, clean driving licence
To be able to swim, as this is one of his favourite activities
To be able to communicate fluently in English
To have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years
To be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check
To live within a 30-minute drive to Wolverhampton.
