We have a current opportunity for a Substance Misuse Practitioner on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Wolverhampton. For further information about this position please apply.Job Title: Substance Misuse Practitioner Location: Wolverhampton Hours: Full time / 37.5 hours per weekType: Temporary (6 month contract )Hourly rate: ( £18 - £21 Umbrella )Industry: Substance Misuse Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, screening, brief and comprehensive assessments with individual, families or couples.
- Provide brief and longer term structured interventions.
- Develop a care plan and ensure it is implemented and reviewed with the client(s) and monitor outcomes.
- Provide case management and ensure integrated pathways.
- Provide advice and structured support for affected others.
- Maintain written records and data.
- Liaise with agencies, professionals and groups as necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Understanding substance misuse and the key components of addiction
- Experience within a similar role
- Clear Enhanced DBS
- Driver & access to own vehicle ( desired )
