- Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and industry best practices.
- Work with a variety of measuring instrumentation, including electrical, temperature, load, force, flow, and pressure devices.
- Ensure all certificates and records are accurately completed, checking deadlines and worksheet instructions to maintain timely completion of work.
- Participate in customer surveillance and accreditation audits.
- Develop and audit calibration procedures for the customer laboratory.
- Assist in developing measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.
- Occasionally, undertake additional tasks within your skillset and receive training where necessary.
- An electrical diagnostic background with strong analytical skills.
- A formal qualification in engineering or extensive hands-on experience in calibration, both practical and theoretical.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical principles.
- Experience in Jig/Tool recertification (preferred but not essential).
- Strong reporting and communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of calibration principles and methodologies.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
