We are currently seeking a Yard Operative to join our client based in Bilston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a manual, outdoor work environment and has experience with handling and moving steel materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to safely move long lengths of steel
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
- Keeping the yard organized and ensuring safe storage of steel
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines
- Experience in manual outdoor work
- FLT experience, ideally with a valid FLT license
- Ability to handle steel materials and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a team player attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
