Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a specialist SEN school? Dunbar Education is currently recruiting for a committed individual to join a fantastic team in Wolverhampton, starting in March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs, including Autism and Behavioural Needs.

  • Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans, ensuring each student's needs are met.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement behaviour management strategies.

  • Support students in both classroom and 1:1 settings to encourage engagement and progress.

  • Assist with personal care needs where required.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, Autism, and Behavioural Needs is essential.

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A relevant qualification in education or child development (desirable but not essential).

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
