SEN Teaching Assistant

£85-£95 per day

Do you have experience supporting and developing the learning of students? Are you looking for a new challenge?

A 2 form entry school in Wolverhampton is currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This school have a strong SLT team and a supportive SENDco and have good staff structure in place.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting students and experience within education. The successful candidate will be somebody who is:

- Enthusiastic and engaging, making learning fun and valuable for the children.

- Resilient and adaptable with their approach to ensure that children are supported appropriately and professionally.

- Experience of working in Key Stage 1

- Experience with a child with mild Autism

- SEND experience/knowledge is desirable.

You do need to have teaching assistant qualifications for this role, the school are looking for the right person with the passion to help. The school pride themselves on how friendly the team is and are always on hand to help and support. In this role you will be supporting the teacher within the classroom, ensuring the learning objectives are met and general classroom tasks.
