Empowering learning are recruiting for Multiple SEN teaching assistants to work in a school in the Wolverhampton area. The school is a two form entry school and is rated "Good" in their most recent Ofsted and has a strong team structure in place. School are looking for someone to come in and use initiative and hit the ground running

The role would be starting in January and would be working on a temporary basis but have the possibility to turn permanent and would be a great opportunity for experienced and new teaching assistants.

Responsibilities of this teaching assistant

  • Enthusiastic and engaging, making learning fun and valuable for the children.
  • Resilient and adaptable with their approach to ensure that children are supported appropriately and professionally.
  • To assist the class teacher with activities and group work support.

  • a DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service.
  • a minimum level 2 qualification either in health and social care or a teaching assistant
  • Experience of working in primary school and across all year groups
  • Experience working with small groups of children
