SEN Teaching Assistant - Wolverhampton

Academics is seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified teaching assistant on behalf of a special school in Wolverhampton. The school caters for children with ASD, MLD, SLD and Physical difficulties. The successful applicant must be empathetic and comfortable working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Team Teach is highly desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate - - Must have Level 3 NVQ/ CACHE or equivalent- Must be experienced with children with Special Educational Needs- Must have a DBS on the update service (if not, we can process one for you for £56.70)- Must have two valid references that cover you for two years- Must have experience in a nursery or school setting- Must be comfortable working with children with Special Educational Needs- Must be able to work well with other teaching assistants and class teachers- Must be enthusiastic and have excellent punctuality- Must be pro-active!
