I am currently recruiting for SEN Class Teachers to join an 'Ofsted GOOD' Special School in the Bilston, Wolverhampton area starting January 2025.The school caters for children and young people (aged 4 - 19), they are recruiting for a teacher with experience working with students with Autism to work with pupils across the school, who can support ASD learners to engage in positive and effective learning experiences.Each class has additional support available in the form of experienced Teaching Assistant's, Therapist and Nurses.Contract Type:Full Time (Monday - Friday)Start Date:January 2025The successful applicants will have:QTS or equivalent (excellent unqualified practitioners will also be considered).Previous experience working with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Complex Needs and/or Physical/Mental/Sensory Impairments.Ability to implement a wide range of teaching techniques.A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.Hold an enhanced Child or Child & Adult barred list DBS certificate.*The school will consider individuals who have experience in mainstream schools as they will be providing onsite training and CPD.The school is looking for excellent teachers and practitioners who have a love of learning, energy, enthusiasm and resilience, ideally interviews and trials days will be arranged asap, with an aim to start in January.If you would like to be considered for this role, you can reply to this email with your up-to-date CV, if you require further information, please feel free to get in contact with me.
