This fantastic Primary School based in Wolverhampton is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join them in January. Receiving a "GOOD" in their last Ofsted report. The schools' main aim for every child is to provide a happy, stimulating, and safe learning environment, where every child is appreciated and confident, so that they can achieve their personal best. The school believes children learn best when they are happy, and this school is a very nurturing and inclusive school.In this role you will be supporting a child who has Autism in the morning and a small group of children, SEN in the afternoon. Your Early Years Practitioner duties will be to follow the child's EHCP plan, helping the child with their learning, often with a particular focus on basic Literacy, Numeracy and single set phonics. You will be monitoring and recording children's learning and giving feedback to the teacher on their progress.With the small group of children, you will be creating sensory activities for the children. Strong communication skills, patience, resilience and a dedication to student academic progress are essential for success in this role.What you'll need to succeed

  • You must have 2 years experience in a classroom setting.
  • You must have a Level 3 Childcare qualification.
  • You must have experience working with children under the age of 5.
  • You will be required to have experience supporting children with SEN.
  • You will be required to have experience working in a nursery setting.
