DegreeSix are a leading Specialist SEND agency who are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to work in a SEN unit in a Primary School in Wolverhampton.

The school have a range of facilities and opportunities and even offers a permanent position for the right candidate. You will be expected to work Monday - Friday 8.15am-3.45pm teaching children diagnosed Non Verbal Autism and Challenging Behaviour

The Role:

  • Ability to teach pupils with Communication and Interaction (ASD) needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
  • Lead a provision and manage staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice.
  • Reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.
  • Use initiative to solve problems.
  • Share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
  • Build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.

To be successful:

QTS

Teaching experience (SEN is essential)

UK based experience as a Teacher

Confident in leading a class of young children with Learning Difficulties.
