Their CAMHS-ED service dedicates substantial resources to the mental health and wellbeing of some of the most vulnerable children, involving professional collaboration and partnership with local organisations, families, and caregivers

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our client's team in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate excellent clinical skills, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for their patients.

You will uphold exemplary standards of nursing care within the unit, ensuring that the environment fosters an atmosphere that aid's the positive development of patients' behaviour and mental well-being. Additionally, to provide supervision and support to care staff, ensuring effective professional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure clear understanding of patient care plans.
  • Confidently and clearly communicate with patients and carers, families and friends

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.

Clinical Skills:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

What Qualifications are required as a Registered Nurse:

  • Hold a current NMC Registration with no restrictions
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
