As a Paint Technician, you will be integral to ensuring the quality and durability of aerospace components. Your expertise in painting techniques and adherence to industry standards will shine as you:

  • Apply specialised coatings to aerospace components using various methods such as spraying, brushing, and dipping.
  • Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and masking to meet technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections before, during, and after painting to ensure adherence to high standards.
  • Maintain painting equipment for optimal functioning and safety compliance.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field is a minimum requirement - certificates will be required
  • Proven experience as a painter, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work precisely to meet quality standards.
