- Pay Rate: £22.20 per hour plus shift allowance
- Hours: 37 per week - various shift patterns
As a Paint Technician, you will be integral to ensuring the quality and durability of aerospace components. Your expertise in painting techniques and adherence to industry standards will shine as you:
- Apply specialised coatings to aerospace components using various methods such as spraying, brushing, and dipping.
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and masking to meet technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections before, during, and after painting to ensure adherence to high standards.
- Maintain painting equipment for optimal functioning and safety compliance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field is a minimum requirement - certificates will be required
- Proven experience as a painter, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work precisely to meet quality standards.
