Aspire People are excited to be working with a fantastic school in Wolverhampton, seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their dedicated teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to deliver engaging lessons, helping students develop practical cooking skills, food safety knowledge, and an understanding of nutrition and food science.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Develop engaging schemes of work that cover a wide range of topics, including food preparation, nutrition, food safety, and design technology.
Assess students' progress through coursework, practical assessments, and written exams.
Encourage students to explore creative and innovative ideas in food design and cooking.
Maintain a safe and organised kitchen environment, ensuring students understand and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Support students in developing their skills in both practical cooking and theoretical knowledge.
Provide guidance and feedback to students to help them achieve their full potential.
Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school leadership to support students' progress and development.

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A strong background in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related field.
Passionate about teaching and inspiring students to explore the world of food and cooking.
Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level is desirable.
Knowledge of the latest food technology trends, food science, and nutrition.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse learning styles.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
