Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills? Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Shipping Co-ordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing product shipments to customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Summary:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Pay Rate: £15.08 per hour
  • Hours: 37 per week - Monday to Thursday 8 - 4.45 Friday 8-12

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers, couriers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate successful shipment of products.
  • Develop and execute daily/monthly shipping plans and ensure accurate loading of finished goods.
  • Maintain knowledge of ITC and export control policies and procedures to comply with regulations.
  • Resolve any issues with customs and ensure shipments reach their destination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate shipping activities and resolve any logistics challenges.

Skills:

  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills to effectively prioritise workload and compile reports and data.
  • Team-oriented with a self-motivated and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or customer-focused environment preferred.
