Laser Operator Role
A Laser Operator is responsible for operating laser cutting, engraving, and marking machines to create products from various materials. They must have strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as a good eye for detail, in order to accurately operate the machine and achieve the desired results.
Laser Operator Duties
- Set up and operate laser cutting, welding and engraving machines
- Monitor laser machines during operation
- Adjust laser speed and intensity to achieve the desired result
- Maintain and troubleshoot laser equipment
- Monitor the quality of parts produced
- Keep records of production and operation of the machines
Laser Operator Requirements
- Able to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Able to set up and operate laser cutting machines
- Able to check and measure the accuracy of components
- Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail
- Able to work to tight deadlines
Laser Operator Skills
- Ability to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
