Site Supervisor - 40k - Wynyard, North East England
An excellent opportunity has come up for a leading FM provider as a Site Supervisor on a site in Wynyard, North East England. This is a chance to work on one of their longest standing contracts offering a competitive salary of 40,000. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career while leading a small shift team of engineers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that the team delivers high standards of service and maintenance. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in High Voltage (HV) systems with training and support provided. This role offers significant potential for career progression as you manage and grow your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a small shift team of engineers, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Provide leadership and guidance to engineers, ensuring high-quality standards are met in all areas of work.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth running of the site and coordination between departments.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet both planned and reactive maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, carrying out safety checks, risk assessments, and ensuring all staff are appropriately trained.
- Develop and mentor the team to ensure their continued development and growth.
- Work closely with senior management to implement best practices and ensure all targets are met.
Essential Requirements:
- Electrical qualifications to City & Guilds or HND Level
- 18th edition
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a similar environment such as electrical maintenance or critical infrastructure.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and the ability to implement and monitor safety procedures.
- Experience in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring service delivery.
