Cost Accountant - Part Qualified/Qualified by experience

Location: Near WoodbridgeSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Study SupportJob Type: Full-time/Permanent (Hybrid options available)

Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Cost Accountant to join their team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving cost reduction and productivity within the manufacturing sector.

What You’ll Do:

• Be the go-to for cost analysis and manufacturing budget creation.
• Lead cost reduction and productivity initiatives, tracking monthly savings.
• Handle purchase requisitions/POs and financial reviews.
• Oversee annual evaluations for standard costs on Raw, WIP & FG.
• Participate in daily management meetings on the production floor.
• Manage the daily cycle program and present monthly manufacturing results.
• Prepare and present the Weekly Flash Report and plant scorecard.
• Support the plant AFE process and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Ensure internal control and SOX compliance.
• Support the Statutory Audit.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and IT systems.
• Handle ad hoc reporting as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or relevant experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience in an international organization is advantageous.
• Proactive, flexible, and pragmatic approach.
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
• Business level English proficiency.
