Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, supported by 2 accounts assistants.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
- Managecash flow and flagging any issues to management
- Monthly payroll
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirablebut considerationwill be given to applicants with commensurate experience.
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally in an interim or contract capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in financial systems (Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
