Our client, a reputable business located north of Ipswich, is seeking a bookkeeper with payroll experience to join their motivated team.
The role involves processing supplier invoices, reconciling bank accounts, managing expense claims, and providing payroll cover during holidays.
Candidates should have experience in transactional accounting services and be proficient in cloud accounting software like Xero, as well as Excel functions such as SUMIF and VLOOKUP.
The position offers free parking, 28 days of holiday, and a competitive salary that reflects the candidate's experience.
A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, along with strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.

Your daily tasks will include –

• Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements.

• Reconcile bank accounts.

• Process expense claims.

• Provide payroll cover for holidays.

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports.

To apply is it highly desirable that you have provided transactional accounting services to a range of companies or a high volume of various transactions for ie a group.

You will need –

Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, and good experience with Excel including knowledge of SUMIF and VLOOKUP functions.
Demonstrate having provided accounts payable processes and bookkeeping with some payroll.
To possess an excellent eye for detail and be highly organised.
Show strong communication abilities both written and verbal.
