MacKenzie King are recruiting a Bookkeeper for a well-known local business, based in Woodbridge, to take ownership of the accounting function. As a Bookkeeper you will have strong communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and have a good working knowledge of Sage 50.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sales ledger
- Purchase ledger
- Credit control
- Completion of accounts to trial balance
- Nominal journals
- Liaising with external auditors
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Collate payroll data
- Communicate the company’s position to the Directors
Key Skills & Attributes:
- AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- Experience on Sage 50
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in a similar role
