We're looking for a passionate Head Chef to join our expanding family business. We're a four bedroom boutique hotel with a large garden. The Head Chef role is key to providing first class hospitality service, ensuring that company standards are maintained, financial targets are achieved and that customer expectations are met. There is a live in opportunity at a local site, a 15 min drive/ train journey away.

We have 4 boutique hotel bedrooms, above our busy restaurant site. We have a real passion for fresh food & fine wine.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing a high performing and motivated team.
  • Maintaining superb hygiene rating and excellent guest reviews of food
  • Responsible for the successful management of the kitchen.
  • Strong controls for labour, stock & financial planning are essential
  • To always exceed guest expectations and provide best in class hospitality to our guests.
  • Passion for food is a must

Ideally you will have:

  • Passion for fresh food hospitality
  • Proven experience in a busy restaurant / hotel environment at a similar level.
  • Previous experience of budgets, recruitment, stock control, ordering & team management.
  • Ability to manage a multifaceted, fast paced business where every day if different.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive 'Can Do' attitude and lead by example

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £39,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
