We are seeking aHead Chefto assist in the running of our beautiful quayside pub and to lead the kitchen team during the busy summer holidays, school breaks, and bank holidays. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional or a management/chef couple looking for a hands-on project that offers both challenges and rewards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership:Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high morale and consistent quality in every dish.
  • Menu Development:Create and develop seasonal menus that reflect local ingredients and trends, delighting our diverse clientele alongside a small core menu.
  • Seasonal Operations:Handle the unique challenges of a seasonal business, from staffing to inventory management, ensuring smooth operations during peak periods.
  • Self-Starter:Take initiative in all aspects of kitchen management, from maintaining high hygiene standards to optimizing kitchen efficiency.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with management to ensure the pub runs seamlessly, delivering exceptional guest experiences.
