Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for leadership and delivering high-quality care?
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deputy Manager (Nursing) to join a dynamic team in Woodbridge, Suffolk. In this rewarding role, you will assist in managing operations, lead a team of care staff, and ensure the provision of excellent care to residents. As Deputy Manager, you will be crucial in achieving care goals and maintaining the highest standards of care at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of the care home and ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Take full responsibility for managing the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Lead and supervise care staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that residents receive the best possible care.
  • Ensure residents' care plans and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments, ensuring a thorough and person-centred approach to care.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, their families, external care professionals, and staff to ensure effective communication and care planning.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar care management role.
  • A strong understanding of the needs of service users and the ability to engage effectively to deliver exceptional care.
  • A thorough knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people, including residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
  • Ability to promote person-centred care programs and actively involve service users and families in care planning and reviews.
Education and Qualifications:
  • NMC Registered Nurse (essential).
  • Relevant clinical experience in a care or nursing setting.
