Catering Manager

We are seeking a Catering Manager to support the provision of high-quality dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. This role involves ensuring appetising, nutritious meals and excellent customer service while adhering to industry standards and safety procedures and meeting financial targets under the guidance of the General Manager. Day-to-day of the role:
- Ensure that the catering operation complies with all regulations and internal policies regarding Food Safety, Allergen Management, and Health & Safety.
- Manage colleague performance, training, coaching, and engagement.
- Manage all financial aspects of the catering operation to ensure maximum value for money and effective cost control.
- Deliver an efficient and friendly dining experience for colleagues and guests.
- Regularly review personal targets and objectives, while also upskilling the management team for effective delegation in absence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in line management, coaching, and mentoring.
- Experience in catering for large numbers and managing employee relation and welfare issues.
- Level 3 food safety and Allergen Management certification.
- IT literate in a range of MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
- A proficient level of English and excellent communication skills.
