The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and financial functions, ensuring efficient operations and smooth communication with clients.

This role includes handling company accounts, invoicing, and general office tasks, while also providing personal assistant and support to the business owner. Additionally, the position involves ordering supplies, ensuring the business operates efficiently.

By maintaining organised workflows and offering high-level support, the Accounts Administrator will play a key role in driving the overall success of the business and ensuring the owner's day-to-day operations run seamlessly.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the office, answering calls and greeting visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Manage office communication, including handling emails and post.
  • Maintain the office’s appearance, ensuring it is tidy, organised, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Liaise with customers regarding orders, bookings, and general inquiries
  • Provide personal assistant and executive support to the business owner, including diary management, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, both business and personal, as well as general personal tasks as required.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism, ensuring seamless support for the business owner.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in office administration and accounts management.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of discretion.
  • Current Full UK Driving Licence
  • Background or experience in property lettings desirable
