TIG WELDER REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE START - 15ph+ - OVERTIME AVAILABLE @ TIME & HALF.
We are currently looking for an experienced TIG welder for an engineering firm local to Woodbridge, Suffolk.
We are offering a starting hourly rate anywhere up from 15ph+, with overtime available all at increased rates of pay.
You will be required to TIG weld Stainless steel / mild steel and some aluminium. Assembly of various products by TIG welding, with section lengths of around 16mm. Welding thicknesses between 1mm - 5mm.
The products vary in shape & size, so you will need to be familiar with engineering drawings.
Hours of work: -
Standard Hours, Monday - Thursday, 07:30am 16:30pm, with an early finish on a Friday. Overtime paid at 1.5 overtime after 40 hours worked.
Required Skills: -
- Must be able to read from technical drawings
- At least 3 years' experience as a welder
- TIG Weld stainless steel & aluminium
- Fabrication experience
This is a permanent position subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
