Location: Redbridge Position: Full-Time School Caretaker Start Date: ASAP Are you a proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented individual looking for a fulfilling role in a dynamic secondary school environment? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Redbridge, seeking a full-time caretaker to join their dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:

General maintenance of school buildings and grounds to ensure a safe, secure, and clean environment for students and staff.
Conducting minor repairs and arranging for larger maintenance tasks.
Ensuring school facilities are prepared for daily use, including classrooms, assembly halls, and sports facilities.
Security management, including locking and unlocking the premises and monitoring access.
Maintaining the school's heating and lighting systems, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Working closely with school staff to support the smooth running of daily operations and events.

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in a caretaker or similar role (desirable but not essential).
A hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving and an ability to work independently.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring positive relationships with staff, students, and visitors.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
