Job Purpose: To efficiently manage contracts from inception to final account settlement, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, work policies, and electrical standards while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and residents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day management of contract services, both reactive and planned preventive maintenance.
- Lead, support, and develop team members to maintain high professional standards and ensure project delivery on schedule.
- Foster collaborative relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage all aspects of accurate pricing, including quotations, reviewing works, and invoicing.
- Procure materials required for contracts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and train less experienced staff, conduct performance appraisals, and set objectives.
- Stay updated on new laws, regulations, and contract trends that may impact business goals.
- Monitor expenditure and report regularly to line manager.
- Review contract management methods, systems, and procedures for opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Engage with clients in specifying and delivering works and obtain feedback on engineer activity and work delivery.
- Communicate the company's commitment to excellent service to customers.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Fulfil any reasonable requests from senior management to support service delivery.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum three years' contract management experience, preferably in the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, with FIA and BAFE qualifications preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong presentation, leadership, and management skills.
- Effective team management and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
