About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join a busy dental practice in IG8. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in dental nursing and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

The ideal candidate should be either enrolled in a dental nursing course or willing to self-fund the course. You will also need to have your Hepatitis B vaccinations up to date. Full training and support will be provided as you develop your skills in the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
  • Ensure that treatment rooms are prepared and sterilized before and after procedures.
  • Support with patient care and offer reassurance where necessary.
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help with general administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing dental stock.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and follow infection control protocols.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Must be enrolled or willing to enroll in a dental nursing course.
  • Willing to self-fund dental nursing course if not already enrolled.
  • Hepatitis B vaccinations are required.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
