Empowering Learning is recruiting for a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant in South Woodford, Redbridge, focused on supporting pupils with Learning Difficulties.
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with Complex Needs, Autism, or Learning Difficulties.
The ideal applicant will possess a Level 2 Child Care qualification and demonstrate a caring, empathetic nature towards students.
The position offers competitive pay rates and the opportunity for a permanent contract, along with additional training opportunities.
Applicants must have a valid DBS and be available to work five days a week.

Nursery Teaching Assistant

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for strong SEND Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with Learning Difficulties in Redbridge. They are seeking Teaching Assistant's with a background of supporting pupils/individuals with Complex Needs, Autism and / or Learning Difficulties. The ideal person will be able to demonstrate a caring and empathetic nature towards the pupils. The school would like a positive and versatile SEN Teaching Assistant, with a keen interest in supporting pupils of different learning levels.

Job Responsibilities

Able to work with groups or 1:1 support within the classroom
Supporting pupils with Complex Needs, Autism & Learning Difficulties
Supervising pupils behaviour
Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development

Job Requirements

Must have minimum Level 2 Child Care qualification (or similar)
Willing to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities
Experience in PECS, Makaton or Print Communication tools
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS
Available 5 days a week
