Global Accounting Network are currently partnered exclusively with an established business in the Woodford Green area to recruit for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a part or newly qualified finance professional to develop their career in a commercial role, this could also suit somebody who is qualified by experience and looking to utilise their commercial finance experience to support a growing business with managing their sites and contracts.

Duties in this Finance Business Partner job will include P&L analysis, monthly reporting on performance, variance analysis, KPI reporting, reviewing costs and supporting business units with cost control, reviewing the balance sheet monthly, delivering month end results, presenting the period's finance results to senior management, attending and leading finance meetings for business units, review of aged debtors to support with minimising debt, partnering with budget-holders to provide financial guidance, annual budgeting and forecasting, accruals and deferrals, working closely with other Finance Business Partners to improve processes and ensure consistent support across sites and various other ad-hoc tasks to support the wider business and finance team.

This Finance Business Partner job will suit a candidate who is an ACCA or CIMA studier (ideally finalist) or qualified, potentially this could suit a qualified by experience candidate who has particularly relevant experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate may have a conventional finance background including exposure to month-end reporting, experience analysing and interpreting financial information and be keen to progress their career in a commercial role, supporting with driving the business forward, enhancing profitability and controlling costs. Experience within a site-based business, ideally in a construction/facilities/engineering business or similar would be advantageous.
