Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Principal Auditor in Lincoln. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• The work will include acting as Principal Auditor, overseeing (but supporting where necessary) the delivery of the audits in Q4 to conclude the annual audit plan
• Work will also include overseeing / completing follow up audits / activity in Q4 to ensure audits delivery that resulted in recommendations and actions are followed up
• Complete follow-up audits and activities in Q4 to verify that audit recommendations and actions have been properly implemented, ensuring organizational compliance and risk mitigation
• Engage in face-to-face meetings and coaching sessions with senior auditors, offering guidance, quality assurance, and best practices to maintain high audit standards

The candidate:

• A member of the Institute of Internal Auditors
• Financial background is advantageous
• Significant experience in a senior audit role, ideally with a financial audit background, enabling effective oversight of audits with financial components
• Public sector experience is desirable
