Welcome to Bainland Lodge Retreats luxury and rural short break retreats located near Woodhall Spa.
The Nest Restaurant on site is fast paced and offers a bistro inspired menu from morning to evening. We use the best ingredients, producing fresh dishes at a high standard.
We also operate a more informal food-to-go menu where guests can order from our Copper Goose menu to have delivered directly to the customers lodge.
We are extremely proud of our state of the art commercial kitchen, which has the highest specification of work areas, appliances, and technology to maximise cooking efficiency.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie.
You will be responsible for delivering consistent and memorable service time after time to our guests, preparing and cooking fresh food in a timely manner and to a high standard of quality and presentation. You will also carry out food preparation, stock rotation, food safety and hygiene and completion of paperwork. Our team will also work with the Executive Chef to implement any promotional packages for guests.
We need our team members to be flexible in their approach and have their own transport due to the location of our site and limited public transport routes.
HOURS OF WORK
Working 40-45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 between 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. The hours of work will be organised according to a rota which will be issued in advance.
ABOUT YOU Essential Requirements
Relevant qualification or experience in culinary or hospitality
An energetic, multi-tasker who will help their team whilst keeping their own area running smoothly
Work under pressure, to tight deadlines and be flexible and adaptable approach
Good communication skills, confident to talk to colleagues and guests.
