Are you a skilled CNC Setter/Operator looking for your next challenge? Are you ready for a hands-on role in heavy engineering?
Our client based in Lincoln is on the look out for someone who knows their way around a 5-axis CNC machine, ideally with experience in Siemen controls. If you enjoy milling, drilling and turning to tight tolerances, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing: 
-    Setting and operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision-engineering components. 
-    Using Siemen controls to adjust settings and applying any programming skills. 
-    Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure every part meets exact standards. 
-    Performing precision tasks such as milling, drilling and turning on heavy-duty components
-               Conducting quality checks with tools like micrometres and callipers.

What we’re looking for:
-    Hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC machines (Siemen control systems experience preferred)
-    Basic CNC programming skills to teak and optimise machine processes is preferred. 
-    Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail. 
-    A proactive problem-solver who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment. 
-    Formal Qualifications are preferred, ideally Level 1 as a minimum – must have a knowledge of health and safety and be able to read from drawings

-    Hours: Monday to Friday Days Initially 7am to 3:30pm, with some lates 3:30pm to 2am with shift allowance.
