Logical are working with a fire protection company who are looking for a senior contracts manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis. The senior contracts manager willspecialise in fire door projectsincluding care homes, hospitals, student accommodations, schools and social housing projects across the country.
They're looking for someone that will move up into the ops manager role within the next 2 years so this is really exciting opportunity for someone wanting to progress.
Duties include:
- Commencement to end of project and cost management, from initial brief to sign off
- Estimate for and oversee the installation of various passive fire protection products
- Programming projects and ensuring they are carried out to a high level of detail, following all manufacturer guidelines in the process.
- Liaising with site management teams, to ensure that all involved are aware of the company work processes.
- Attending sites to get a better knowledge of the works required, to assist with quotations
- Attending weekly review meetings of how projects are progressing, ensuring deadlines are being met
- Producing relevant RAMS,CPP and H&S documentation, ensuring that these are adhered to, to ensure timely management of company employees, to meet the requirements of each specific project
- Overall business development; introductions and client proposals.
Must have:
- Excellent fire door technical knowledge
- 3-5 years experience as a CM specialising in joinery/fire doors
- FIRAS and BM Trada experience
- Full driving license and be happy to travel nationwide
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
- Confident individual, capable of managing issues on sites
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word
Salary:
- 60k-65k
