Finance Risk & Control
Lincolnshire

Henderson Brown are seeking a Finance Risk & Control Specialist to act as the subject matter expert in the application of financial control policies within our client's business. This role is focused on ensuring that finance policies and processes are optimised to strengthen risk management capabilities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to :

* Provide expert guidance on the application of financial control policies to enhance risk management practices across the business.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to the finance team and other stakeholders, assisting in the development of effective and practical solutions to manage financial risk.
* Ensure process maps are in place for all finance processes, with annual reviews and sign-offs.
* Monitor and track internal controls using a tailored KPI compliance framework to meet the organisation's needs.
* Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and other key functions to ensure effective coordination of risk management activities and prompt resolution of any issues.
Qualifications and experience :
* Fully qualified in either CIMA or ACCA.
* Proven experience in financial governance, risk management, and controls.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex issues and offer practical solutions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a flexible approach to work.
